摘 要:
I will introduce the concept of the self-dual background, which is a non-dynamical field (impurity) preserving the self-duality of the original field theory. I will explain how one can use this framework to systematically analyze soliton interactions. As an example I will consider the soliton-antisoliton scattering in the \phi^4 model.
报告人简介:
Prof. Andrzej Wereszczynski is a Polish theoretical physicist who is interested in solitons and field theory. He obtained his Ph.D. from Jagiellonian University, Poland in 2002 and has since worked as a postdoc and an adjunct (assistant professor) at the Jagiellonian University and as a postdoc at the Niels Bohr Institute, Copenhagen, Denmark from 2008-2009. After the postdoc experience he returned to Jagiellonian University where he became a professor in 2017. Together with his collaborators Christoph Adam and Joachim Sanzhes-Guillen, he is known for the integrable BPS-Skyrme model which is a BPS limit of the model which is now known as the generalized Skyrme model. Their paper has been cited more than 145 times. He has published more than 85 papers in Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. C, Phys. Rev. D, JHEP, Phys. Lett. B, J. Phys. A, J. Math Phys, etc.
