报告摘要:
Liouville system is a system of second order elliptic equations defined on two dimensional spaces. Many models in geometry, physics and biology are interpreted as Liouville systems. In a previous work of myself and Lin (2010 cpam) we established a number of fundamental results for degree counting theorems, which prove existence of solutions by a degree counting formula. In this talk I will report a recent joint work with my student Yi Gu on singular Liouville systems.

张雷,2001年毕业于Rutgers(罗格斯)大学并获博士学位,现为佛罗里达大学教授,博士生导师,美国佛罗里达大学招生委员会成员。主要研究方向为非线性偏微分方程,几何分析。在Advances in Mathematics,Comm. Pure Appl. Math.,J. Funct. Anal.,Comm. Math. Phys.,J. Diff. Equa.,Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations,Proc. Amer. Math. Soc等国际著名期刊上发表学术论文40余篇,主持美国国家自然科学基金3项。
